HOLI Colours, a global event attracting revellers throwing coloured powder, water and paint at each other, is coming to San Pedro de Alcantara on October 6.

The iconic festival originated in India and is a Hindu celebration of spring and new life.  

The festival, which also features DJ sets, live performances and dance troupes, kicks off at 7pm at an open site next to the Teresa de León college.

Entry costs €12 but discounted tickets will be available for registered voters.
